The first two day tournament of the year was a tough one. Anglers had to battle high winds and surf. Ten Kings made the trip to Lake Istokpoga. New member Doc Watkins squeezed out a close victory with just over 6 pounds. Rob Marks took big fish honors with a nice bass just under 3 pounds.

Another tough day at the park. The fish were plentiful but the big one were not. Piasecki and Webb shared big fish honors with both bringing in fish just over 2lbs! Water temp was 67 degrees. Most fish were caught on soft plastics.

The first regular tournament of the season was a good one. Dispute a strong wind, gusting up to 30mph at times and a torrential rain storm, three Kings proved that the weather was not an issue. LeDroux, J.R. Payne and non-boater Jason Walsh all brought in double digits. The top water bite was hot. Horny Toads, Super Spooks and Magnum Flukes caught most of the big fish. Most fish were caught in the Box and the Dynamite Holes.

The 2010 SFBK annual classic started off with a cold 43 degree morning with the wind coming out of the NW 5-10 mph. Most guys ran north to start the day, battling the wind and cold to get to their spots. The cold front for the most part had the fishing shut down. No one had a limit. Rob Mark came in with three fish, anchored by another "Big Bass" that weighted just under 6 lbs. That put him at the top of the field becoming the 2010 SFBK Classic Champion. Nick had three good fish and secured second and Jeff L. just beat out JR for the three place spot.

Fishing on one of the coldest days of the year. The Bass Kings launched 7 boats from Holiday Park (Everglades). The action was hot and furious from the start to finish. Several boats reported catching well over 60 bass. Just about everyone had their limits by 10am. Flukes, Horny Toads, Senkos, you name it, it worked. The only problem was most of the bass were under 2 lbs. The "Big Mamas" were no where to be found. The water temp at launch was 64 degrees warming up to 69 degrees later in the day. Air temp at launch was 58 degrees.
