5/8/10 - South Florida Bass King Jeremy Montenegro had a strong showing at the BFL tournament (
Gator Division) held on Lake Okeechobee.  Montenegro placed 32nd out of 122 anglers.  On his previous BFL tournament also held on Lake Okeechobee he won big fish honors with a weight of 6.07 lbs.  keep up the good work.

5/3/10 - A very good weekend for The South Florida Bass Kings.  Jeff LeDroux took 1st place at the Saturday qualifier while Reid "Doc" Watkins and non-boater Scott Bruner both qualified for the State Championship.  On the Sunday qualifier JR Payne qualified for the State Championship by placing 3rd and Leon Webb added valuable AOY points.  The Bass Kings will send five boaters and one non-boater to the State Championship.  This looks to be the strongest team in years. 

3/7/10 - The South Florida Bass Kings will be well represented at the 2010 State Championship.  Jeff Ledroux, Leon Webb and Rob Mark qualified for the 2010 Florida Bass Federation Nation State Championship.  The Bass Kings took 2 of the 3 tops places at the second state qualifying tournament held on Lake Okeechobee.  Jeff Ledroux took 2nd while Leon Webb took 3rd. 
Good Job! The State Championship will be held on Rodman Reservoir in Palaka, Florida.    

1/3/10 - Rob Mark won the 2010 SFBK Classic held on Lake Okeechobee. Mark won the tournament with a winning weight of 9.28 lbs.  Nick Fisichella took second with a weight of 4.40 lbs.  Congratulations to both!

12/20/09 - Congratulations to JR Payne for winning The South Florida Bass Kings Angler of the Year (AOY) title for 2009.  Payne had a one point lead over Rob Mark going into the last tournament of the year.  Payne placed second while Mark finished 6th.  Rob Mark won the Big Fish award for 2009 with the 9 pound bass he caught in the first tournament of the Year.

11/10/09 - Congratulations to Jeff LeDroux for winning The Florida Bass Federation Nation (South Region) Angler of the Year (AOY) title for 2009.  LaDroux out fished 23 angler to capture the title. 

11/9/09 - Kudos goes out to Jeff LeDroux for placing 12th at the Florida Bass Federation Nation State Championship. He just missed making the State Team by a couple of spots. Also congrats goes out to new member Jeremy Montenegro for having a strong performance on the non-boaters side. Leon Webb made the trip but did not fish because of engine trouble.  Jason Walsh and David Oliviera did not fish the tournament.

5/3/09 - Congratulations to Club members
Jeff LeDroux, Leon Webb,  David Oliviera, Jason Walsh and first year member Jeremy Montenegro for qualifying for the Florida Bass Federation Nation State Championship. The tournament will be held out of Clewiston, Florida on 11/7/2009 - 11/8/2009.

1/18/09 - Rob Mark caught a monster Bass weighting 9.29 lbs! (see photo gallery). This trophy bass anchored his 16.00 lb sack to win the tournament at The Holey Lands.




ROAD TO THE CLASSIC






B.A.S.S. CLUB LEVEL
Anglers qualify through their local clubs for the State Team Qualifier Tournaments. Local clubs along with the State Chapter determine the qualifying format on the state level.

B.A.S.S. FEDERATION NATION STATE CHAPTER LEVEL
The State Chapters of the B.A.S.S. Federation Nation hold State Team Qualifier (s) to qualify a 12 person team plus two alternates. (one qualifying through the State Team Qualifier (s) and the State President or his/ her representative) States determine the qualifier format for their state.

B.A.S.S. FEDERATION NATION DIVISIONAL LEVEL
B.A.S.S. invites each B.A.S.S. Federation Nation State Chapter to bring a 12 person team plus two alternates to one of 6 (six) B.A.S.S. Federation Nation Divisionals. Divisional format will be consistent the current divisional format. Purpose of the divisional is to qualify one person from each state for the B.A.S.S. Federation Nation National Championship. The divisional is a 12 person "team" tournament. Prizes are awarded to the teams only. The highest finishing person from each team will qualify for the B.A.S.S. Federation Nation National Championship.

B.A.S.S. FEDERATION NATION NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP LEVEL
46 B.A.S.S. state Federation Nations and 6 B.A.S.S. foreign country Federation Nations compete within one of the 6 (six) divisions to qualify for the Bassmaster Classic. The anglers compete individually in the tournament to determine a national champion, however, the highest finishing angler within each of the 6 (six) divisions will earn a berth into the Bassmaster Classic.

BASSMASTER CLASSIC LEVEL
6 (six) anglers qualify through the B.A.S.S. Federation Nation National Championship to compete in the Bassmaster Classic.
